Overall, Batman Forever is underrated and deserves more credit for Schumacher’s idea. The Riddler breaks in and tries to shoot Batman. The Riddler has Robin and Batman’s girlfriend trapped, in which he can release them and have them fall to their death. Their lifeless bodies are shown, and Robin mourns them. Robin’s parents fall to their death, (off-screen). He may beat up bad guys, but it is WAY less than what Batman did in the first two.
